PKF Francis Clark has opened a new office in Southampton to serve our growing corporate client base in Hampshire and the M3 corridor.

The new base on Southampton Science Park is our ninth location and means that, as one of the South of England’s largest independent firms of chartered accountants and business advisers, our office network now stretches from Southampton and Bristol to Truro.

Corporate finance partner Paul Stout said: “We already provide corporate finance, audit and specialist tax work for our clients in the Hampshire area, so establishing a permanent presence here is a natural extension of our activities.

“Hampshire and the M3 corridor is a thriving commercial area and, despite the wider economic uncertainty, demand for our services has never been higher.

There’s a great talent pool in the Southampton area and we will be actively recruiting to meet the demand we are seeing for our services.

“We have proven that the PKF Francis Clark brand has penetrated the market in this area, combining a personal approach with the depth of expertise of a much larger firm. With its cluster of innovative start-ups and leading technology businesses, Southampton Science Park is the perfect location for us, and we look forward to helping ambitious businesses both here and across the region to achieve their growth plans.”

PKF Francis Clark is consistently ranked as one of the UK’s most active dealmakers, and last year advised on a record 125 deals across a wide range of sectors.

The firm was recently certified as a Great Place to Work – one of only a handful of accountancy firms in the UK to receive this accreditation from the global authority on workplace culture.

Paul added: “There’s a great talent pool in the Southampton area and we will be actively recruiting to meet the demand we are seeing for our services.”

Established in 1919, PKF Francis Clark has nine offices throughout Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol and now Hampshire. The firm has 55 partners and over 800 members of staff, with annual revenue of £52 million.

As a member of the PKF International family of legally independent firms, PKF Francis Clark works with colleagues in 150 countries to help clients complete cross-border transactions and do business around the world.
