Partner, healthcare sector

Headshot of Katie Skea.

Katie Skea, ACA BSC (Hons), is a partner working in the healthcare team of the Truro office. Katie looks after a large number of our GP practices – taking care of all aspects of our delivery to both the practice and the individual GPs. Alongside this, Katie draws on her extensive prior corporate background to look after a number of healthcare related companies, being entities attached to practices as well as private companies for a large number of consultants and healthcare professionals. Complementing this, Katie also looks after a number of locums and also signs the audit reports, as an audit Responsible Individual (“RI”) for some of our larger health related organisations.

Katie is very personable and approachable and strives to demystify the complexities of tax and accounting for clients. She also aims to be proactive and responsive and put the client’s needs at the heart of what she does.

Katie has been with PKF Francis Clark for over 15 years. Prior to this she trained and worked as a senior manager at a “Big 4” firm in Bristol, which included an overseas secondment to Australia.  Outside of work, Katie is a keen runner and also spends a lot of time running around after her 3 children!
