Western Morning News Annual Business Guide 2023

For the fourth year running, Devon and Cornwall’s 150 largest businesses are revealed in a list compiled by PKF Francis Clark for the Western Morning News Annual Business Guide.

With combined revenues of just under £15 billion billion and nearly 79,000 employees, this elite group makes an enormous contribution to our regional economy.

We’re proud to audit 46 of the top 150 businesses, meaning that for the first time we now audit more of Devon and Cornwall’s Top 150 companies than the Big Four accountancy firms combined.

The supplement includes commentary on the Top 150 list and some of the issues affecting the region’s businesses in 2023. The list is based on the latest publicly available accounts when data was extracted from Experian Market IQ (in January 2023) and companies are ranked by turnover.
