Tamara Beach

Manager, tax

Headshot of Tamara Beach.

Tamara is a tax manager based in the Truro office. Tamara works with her colleagues across the south west advising on a variety of key taxation areas including corporate transactions and restructuring, international and employer services, with a specialism within global mobility.

She has a purely advisory role, working with clients with international operations (or aspirations to expand internationally/send employees across borders).

Tamara graduated from Cardiff University with first class honours in Accounting and Finance and joined Deloitte’s graduate scheme as a tax analyst in the south west and Wales global mobility team. Tamara spent nearly three years with Deloitte helping international corporations meet their strategic global mobility needs and obtaining the chartered tax advisors qualification, before relocating back to her hometown of Truro in April 2019.

Working for a variety of businesses from local, family owned businesses to large multinational corporations, she loves the fast-paced variety of her role and the chance to get to know lots of different types of businesses.

Tamara’s approach is friendly and personable and she likes to work proactively with clients to deliver the best service and help them meet their goals. She enjoys interacting with both employees and employers to help solve problems and try to ensure that their international tax experiences are as stress free as possible.

Outside of work Tamara is a very keen runner, training and racing with Cornwall Athletics Club. She ran the London Marathon in 2019 in 2 hours and 45 minutes and has a half marathon personal best of 1 hour and 15 minutes; she enjoys training for triathlon and canicross (cross country running attached to a dog).  If Tamara is not running she is most likely sea swimming, horse riding, baking or exploring the Cornish beaches and countryside with her partner and travelling in the UK and overseas in her campervan with her 2 dogs.
