Declan Gold
Manager, corporate finance
Declan advises clients on acquisition, sale and refinancing transactions across a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy, environmental services, business services, financial services, leisure and manufacturing.
Alongside buy-side financial due diligence, Declan has significant experience managing vendor due diligence assignments, helping shareholders and management teams prepare businesses for sale. His experience includes supporting Helio Intelligence Group on ECI Partners’ investment, Elio Group on its acquisition by DragonPass, and Connect2Law on its acquisition by Alcuin Capital Partners.
Prior to joining PKF Francis Clark in 2026, Declan worked at EY, Quilter and BDO, developing experience across corporate audit, financial services, corporate finance and transaction services.
Declan is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Southampton. Outside of work, he is a long-suffering season ticket holder of his favourite football team and enjoys taking to the skies from his local airfield whenever time allows.
