Launching our new podcast series – Business Noodles and Doodles

Some of the South West’s leading business brains are sharing their stories in our new podcast – Business Noodles and Doodles.

In each episode, corporate finance partner Mark Greaves talks to a South West business leader, finding out what drives them and the challenges they have had to overcome.

The new podcast gives you a chance to get to know the people behind successful businesses, showcasing the region’s entrepreneurial talent and shedding light on what it takes to build a thriving business.

First episode available now

In the first episode, Will Ashworth, chief executive of Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall and Another Place in the Lake District, talks about the evolution of tourism and how to maintain a strong culture in a growing business.

During a wide-ranging conversation, he discusses his family’s long involvement in the hospitality industry, what his team have been doing during lockdown and his plans to create a new collection of lifestyle hotels. Listen Now

  • Amanda Stansfield, founder of Granny Gothards, the Devon artisan ice cream maker which now exports as far afield as Dubai, India, China and Australia.
