Karen Bowen

Karen is an experienced specialist providing UK tax advice to individuals and trustees with international affairs and high net worth individuals.

Karen has worked in personal tax for over 35 years. She joined PKF Francis Clark in 2012, becoming a partner in 2018.  Her friendly approach and ability to explain complicated legislation helps her clients navigate the increasing complexities of our tax legislation.

For the past 20 years, Karen has provided UK tax advice for clients with international issues. She has advised on residence (coming to/leaving the UK); non-residents with UK tax obligations; non-doms and long-term residents; and interpreting double tax treaties.  She also helps offshore trustees and their beneficiaries with their compliance responsibilities. Her clients have included multi-millionaires, retired business owners and household names.

Karen is a fellow of the Institute of Tax Technicians (Fellow ATT). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, sewing and watching movies.
