Experienced tax director Youcef Toumi joins PKF Francis Clark

PKF Francis Clark has strengthened its tax team with the appointment of experienced director Youcef Toumi.

Youcef joined from BDO, where he spent nearly 13 years, after relocating to Exeter with his young family. He supports international clients with UK interests on their filing obligations and tax advisory planning opportunities, as well as helping to resolve tax disputes. He has extensive experience of advising individuals and businesses in the private equity sector, including on cross-border issues.

Youcef said: “The thing I find most rewarding about working in tax is collaborating with clients, colleagues and third-party advisers to achieve successful outcomes, and I enjoy the mental stimulation of complex problem-solving.

“After meeting people and finding out about the culture here, joining PKF Francis Clark was a no-brainer. The environment is friendly and inclusive, and we have a depth of high-quality experience in the team.”

John Endacott, head of tax at PKF Francis Clark, said: “Youcef is the latest high-calibre senior hire to join our growing tax team. His expertise will be valuable to internationally mobile private clients seeking proactive advice on their tax affairs.”

Outside work Youcef enjoys windsurfing, rowing, cycling and mountain biking.
