Nick Harris

Partner, restructuring

Meet Nick

One of the leaders of our award winning business restructuring team

Hi I’m Nick.

I’m a restructuring partner here at PKF Francis Clark.

I’ve been with the firm for over 20 years now and in my opinion, there’s no better place where you can get challenging and meaningful work in this great part of the country.

My role is helping businesses and directors in their real time of need, whether that’s financial distress or whether they need to restructure and grow, I’m here to help them get through that.

Yeah, there’s been some real success stories where I’ve been able to go in and meet

directors, meet the key stakeholders in those businesses, but then we’ve been able to put those businesses on the right track.

So in my free time, I am the dad of two young boys. But yeah, they’re both active. Go to lots of clubs and activities. I like to refer to myself as the family taxi service, taking them to different sports clubs in the evenings and at the weekends.

Whether you are facing a challenge or you just want to get in touch to explore your options, please do contact me.

Nick Harris is a licensed insolvency practitioner and chartered accountant based in the UK. He is a partner in PKF Francis Clark’s restructuring team, where he advises businesses across a wide range of sectors, including charities, agriculture, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, construction, care homes, and visual effects (VFX).

Nick began his career at PKF Francis Clark as a graduate trainee in 2004. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 2007 and has specialised in business recovery and insolvency since 2008. Nick became a partner in 2025. While he handles all aspects of business recovery, Nick is particularly passionate about guiding directors through the challenging twilight zone — the critical period when a business is facing financial uncertainty. He provides clear, practical advice to help directors make informed decisions, especially when weighing the difficult choice between continuing to trade or entering liquidation.

Known for his empathetic approach, Nick takes pride in helping individuals gain clarity and peace of mind during times of financial stress. He works closely with a trusted network of professionals to support businesses.

Outside of work, he enjoys watching cricket and rugby, and spending quality time with his family.
