Kathryn Jenkins

Senior manager, VAT and customs

Kathryn is a VAT and Customs professional with almost 20 years’ experience predominantly working in VAT.  She gained her experience from HMRC and originally joined PKF Francis Clark in 2015.  After 2 years providing written VAT consultancy to clients at Croner-i Kathryn decided to rejoin in September 2023 bringing a broad range of VAT knowledge. 

Kathryn enjoys working with clients in the charity/not-for-profit sector, manufacturing industries and international trade on all technical and practical aspects of VAT including complex issues and planning for future projects.

Kathryn has advised independent schools on complex VAT issues including obtaining relief on property developments such as boarding houses and special Partial Exemption methods to maximise VAT savings.
She is CTA qualified and has the Institute of Export Level 4 Customs Practitioner Award.  She applied her VAT and Customs knowledge to support clients through Brexit and beyond.

Outside of work Kathryn enjoys spending time travelling, exploring the Dorset coast and being on the water.
