Pam joined the firm in October 2022 as a manager within the Employment Solution team. She has over 30 years’ experience working within employment and expatriate tax. Her career started with HMRC in 1990 as a business advisor assisting small companies and employers with meeting their HMRC obligations, during this time she also had the responsibility for supporting employers with the implementation of electronic filing for the Dorset and South Wiltshire area.

After 16 years with HMRC, Pam moved to the private sector to work in expatriate tax, where she gained experience working within the 'big 4' and medium sized accountancy firms. She is an expert on the issues faced by an employer who has globally mobile employees, including international social security, tax equalisation and shadow payrolls. During her time with a 'big 4' firm she worked overseas in their Moscow office providing UK and Russian tax advice to UK clients seconded to Russia.

Pam has a wide knowledge of employment and personal tax which she has gained during her career, which includes annual employer compliance, expenses and benefits, social security and issues relating to employees working remotely which has become a hot topic since the pandemic. She is dedicated to providing an excellent client service and thrives on helping her clients navigate the complex world of employment and expatriate tax.

In her time off Pam likes to travel and has taken a several back packing trips around the world visiting over 50 countries, her motto is “ I have a passport and I am not afraid to use it”. When she isn’t travelling she spends her time with friends and family, and attends wine tasting events as she has a keen interest in wine. Her dream would be to own a winery producing her own wine.
