New trainees embark on a career in accountancy
PKF Francis Clark recently welcomed a new intake of 19 graduate trainees and six accounting apprentices across our offices in the South West.
It comes after eight graduate trainees passed the latest round of Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) finals exams, bringing the total number to qualify in the past year to 17.
Our latest crop of newly qualified chartered accountants are based in Salisbury, Poole, Torquay, Exeter, Plymouth and Truro.
Applications for PKF Francis Clark’s next Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) apprenticeship scheme intake are now open. Successful candidates will join the firm later this year.
Managing partner Andrew Richards, left, said: “It’s always pleasing to see young people who joined us as graduate trainees or school leavers complete their training to become ACA or AAT qualified – a milestone in every accountant’s career.
“Congratulations to all those who recently received their exam results for successfully combining work and study while dealing with the added challenges everyone has faced during the pandemic.
“We’re also delighted to welcome our latest intake of trainees, who will be following in their footsteps over the next few years. Like so many aspects of our work, we have adapted our training programmes so that our trainees can continue to learn from their experienced colleagues while most of us are working remotely.”
