PKF Francis Clark wins Corporate Advisory Team of the Year at South West Dealmakers Awards

Chartered accountants and business advisers PKF Francis Clark are celebrating after winning Corporate Advisory Team of the Year at Insider’s South West Dealmakers Awards 2024.

The prestigious awards recognise the region’s professional services sector and celebrate the success achieved by dealmakers in the South West over the past 12 months.

The team has enjoyed a successful first half of 2024, with multiple deal completions. This followed a successful 2023, which saw them recognised by Experian as the most active dealmakers in the South West.

Andrew Killick, head of the corporate finance team at PKF Francis Clark, said: “We are delighted that our corporate finance team has been recognised in what is one of the top awards in the region. This award reflects the team’s hard work and dedication in delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.”

The team was joined by other talented professional teams in the region when they picked up their award at the Bristol Marriott Hotel on Thursday 27 June. The judges commented that in an incredibly competitive category PKF Francis Clark stood out for a year in which the team was involved in 81 deals, at a variety of transaction sizes and across a range of sectors. Judges praised the team’s role in a selection of complex deals and cross-border transactions.

PKF Francis Clark was also shortlisted 11 times across seven categories, including ESG Deal of the Year (Fig Power), Large Deal of the Year (eXmoor Pharma) Medium Deal of the Year (The Barrister Group, BV Dairy, Archus), Small Deal of the Year (Clear-flow Ltd, Microwave Amps Ltd, Family Adventure Group, Fig Power), Emerging Dealmaker of the Year (Tom Hicks) and Dealmaker of the Year (Matt Willmott).
