Sonne Solar acquired by Atrato Onsite Energy

Hundreds of solar panels spreading across fields.

PKF Francis Clark has advised the owners of renewable energy developer Sonne Solar Ltd on the sale of the business to Atrato Onsite Energy Plc.

Incorporated in 2018, Sonne Solar has an operational portfolio consisting of 33MW of installed capacity across 32 rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV assets in the UK, and a development portfolio of a further 33 pipeline sites as part of a framework agreement with a FTSE100 business.

Atrato Onsite Energy Plc is an investment company focused on onsite clean energy generation, specifically UK commercial rooftop and onsite solar. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker ROOF.

Gurpreet Gujral, managing director of Atrato Partners Ltd, investment adviser to the company, said: “The Sonne operational assets are an immediate source of income for ROOF whilst the development portfolio provides attractive further pipeline.”
