We’re pleased to have advised on another significant transaction in the renewable energy sector and look forward to continuing to support clients with disposals, acquisitions and fundraising.

Rob Gear, Adam Kefford, George Harold and Callum West at PKF Francis Clark conducted financial and tax vendor due diligence for Cero Generation on the sale of Sonne Solar.

Corporate finance director Rob Gear said: “The current energy price spiral has focused minds on the long-term importance of renewable energy generation in bolstering the UK’s energy security and helping to meet our climate change goals.

“We’re pleased to have advised on another significant transaction in the renewable energy sector and look forward to continuing to support clients with disposals, acquisitions and fundraising.”

Atrato Onsite Energy Plc is an investment company focused on onsite clean energy generation, specifically UK commercial rooftop and onsite solar. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker ROOF.

Gurpreet Gujral, managing director of Atrato Partners Ltd, investment adviser to the company, said: “The Sonne operational assets are an immediate source of income for ROOF whilst the development portfolio provides attractive further pipeline.”
