Worldwide Flight Services expands with Swedish acquisitions

A United Airlines plane is flying through a very grey cloudy sky.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a leading global air cargo handler and a member of the SATS Group, has expanded its international cargo handling capabilities with the acquisition of Swedish-based Terminal & Transporttjänst i Sigtuna AB and sister company APH Logistics AB.

Nathan Holland and Chris Harper in PKF Francis Clark’s transaction services team provided hands-on buyside support to WFS on the deal, including due diligence, share purchase agreement advice and valuation support.

Colleagues at PKF Revidentia AB in Stockholm provided tax advice.

Nathan said: “We were pleased to support WFS to expand their global presence through this strategic acquisition. This cross-border transaction highlights our ability to help our clients to achieve their ambitions throughout Europe and beyond, working in collaboration with our colleagues in the PKF Global network to provide a full suite of buyside transaction services.”

Deep Sagoo, SVP Business Development Europe at WFS, said: “PKF provided a professional and highly responsive service for this transaction, with their team fully available to support WFS on due diligence and transaction documentation. Great work from Nathan and Chris at PKF.”
