Caroline Ruscoe
Manager, tax
Caroline joined PKF Francis Clark in 2023, having worked in the tax profession since 2007. She has prior accountancy experience within the Big four and management accounts and payroll experience but has developed her career in tax in recent years.
Her main areas of interest and expertise are:
- Complex personal tax compliance, mainly for high net worth individuals, including assisting non-UK resident clients
- Capital taxes –– advising on complex capital gains tax transactions and identifying any associated planning opportunities
- HMRC disclosures – preparation of relevant and accurate disclosure documents, justification of penalty rates used and supporting clients through what can be a stressful period
- Tax planning for the future including remuneration planning for owner-managed businesses, the use of tax efficient investments (such as EIS, SEIS, VCT and share schemes), pensions and inheritance tax planning
Caroline has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bristol University and has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) for over 10 years. Outside work Caroline can be found cycling, walking her beloved border collie or open water swimming.
