Charles Richards

Director, tax

Charles joined PKF Francis Clark in 2015 and in 2025 became a director in our private client team.  He is a chartered accountant (ACA) and a prizewinning chartered tax adviser (CTA). He has also completed his society of trust and estate practitioner (TEP) diploma.

Charles enjoys providing tax advice to a wide range of clients. He is capable in advising clients in respect of income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax. His clients include trusts & estates, high net worth individuals and non-residents. He enjoys working closely with financial advisers and solicitors to achieve clients’ objectives.

Charles’ particular area of expertise is in trust and estate planning. His specialist knowledge of inheritance tax and trusts enables him to advise clients on maximising wealth passing down through the generations.

Outside of work Charles regularly competes his horses in show jumping competitions at national and international level.
