Chris Bishop

Chris is a director in the corporate finance team. 

Chris specialises in providing lead advisory, strategic and transaction support services to owner-managed businesses and larger corporates. He has extensive experience in business sales, management buyouts, acquisitions, finance raising and financial due diligence. He prides himself on proactive deal management, identifying problems and issues that can occur and finding innovative ways to solve them. 

Since joining Francis Clark in 2011, Chris has built up experience across multiple sectors including branded retail, distribution, manufacturing and financial and insurance services.  

Recent transactions include lead sell-side advisory roles on the sale of Devondale to PE owned Grant & Stone, the sale of Golden Coast to European buyers, Pollet Water Group and the sale of Oneline Surveys to Adler & Allan. 

Chris is a chartered accountant with a BSc in physiological Science. In 2019, Chris was awarded Emerging Dealmaker of the Year.  

Outside of work, Chris spends his time exploring the Devon countryside with his dog, is a keen hockey player and enjoys all forms of motorsport.
