Darren Perry

Director, audit

Darren is a director of the firm and heads up the Truro office not-for-profit team.

Darren is a specialist in charity accounting and audit, working with charities, academy schools, churches and other not-for-profit entities such as community interest companies. He holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting in recognition of his experience in the sector and is also a regular speaker at our annual charity seminar and academy update seminars.

Darren is a Responsible Individual for statutory audit work and has a broad portfolio of clients ranging from the independent examination of small, local charities, through to the audit of charitable groups and multi academy trusts.  In addition to the not-for-profit sector he also assists corporate clients and carries out other specialist audits such as pension schemes and grant claims.

Darren trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Winter Rule in 2000, prior to the merger with Francis Clark LLP in 2011. Outside of work Darren is a school governor and enjoys running, travelling and family dog walks.
