Heather specialises in providing tax advice to companies and their directors/shareholders, as well as unincorporated businesses and property owners. She enjoys providing practical tax solutions, particularly in relation to structure, property transactions and capital allowances.

Heather advises a number of property owners as well as renewables business. She helps clients meet compliance obligations in addition to providing advice on structure and transactions.

Alongside her work with business, Heather also provides tax advice to a number of charities and academies.

She has 18 years’ experience in accountancy and tax, originally working for PKF Francis Clark in their Exeter office. She became the head of tax for a local accountancy firm in Taunton, before returning to the PKF Francis Clark Taunton office in 2013.

Heather is the author of the tax planning chapters for Tolley’s Capital Allowances book and has previously been an examiner for the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
