James Martin

Assistant Manager

James previously worked exclusively in global mobility, having started in a tax-technical role back in December 2017. Upon joining PKF Francis Clark, he now also supports with employment taxes queries.

He holds a degree in mathematics and joined PKF Francis Clark in November 2025 as an assistant manager within the employer solutions team.

James has experience of supporting with employment tax aspects of due diligence, providing advice on employment status, reviewing the taxability of benefits in kind and preparing PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSAs). He also has extensive experience on global mobility issues, in supporting clients manage the tax implications of cross-border travel.

He is enthusiastic and friendly and enjoys being able to support clients as they navigate a complex tax environment.

In his own time, James is kept busy by being a recent first-time dad and a charity trustee for two charities. He is also a keen cook, albeit at a much more amateur level to his famous namesake!
