Jon joined PKF Francis Clark in 2013 as a graduate tax trainee, completing his professional qualifications with the firm. Jon has a wide range of experience having worked as part of both the personal and corporation tax compliance teams, and more recently as part of the private client and tax advisory teams.

Jon advises on a range of tax matters with a focus on property related taxes, in particular stamp duty land tax. He has a broad experience of stamp duty land tax related issues ranging from multiple dwellings relief claims to transfers of partnership property. He is also experienced in advising on capital gains tax and the annual tax on enveloped dwellings.

Jon graduated from the University of Exeter having studied Human Biology. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Outside of work Jon lives in Bournemouth with his wife and young son. He is an avid sports fan with a particular interest in football and cricket. He also enjoys making the most of the local beaches and surrounding countryside.
