Lisa Whitbread

Lisa specialises in corporate and business tax advisory and is based in our Poole office. Lisa specialises in providing corporate tax planning advice in areas of corporate restructuring, shareholder taxation and the tax aspects of corporate sales and acquisitions across a range of sectors including manufacturing and engineering, marine and food and drink. In addition, Lisa is part of our Innovation Taxes team advising on Research and Development and Patent Box claims.

Lisa enjoys advising clients of all sizes however has particular interest in owner managed business corporates and enjoys assisting the directors and shareholders by providing tax advice throughout the lifecycle of the company, whether that be from initial start up right through to expansion with group reorganisations, de mergers, succession planning and potential sales or acquisitions.

Lisa joined Francis Clark as a trainee in 2003 and is a qualified chartered tax advisor. When not working, Lisa enjoys looking after her daughter, keeping fit and trips to Walt Disney World.
