Lisa Whitbread

Lisa joined PKF Francis Clark as a trainee in 2003 and now has more than 20 years of corporate tax experience. Lisa is a qualified chartered tax advisor. When Lisa isn’t working Lisa enjoys looking after her two young daughters, keeping fit and trips to Walt Disney World.

Lisa specialises in corporate tax planning, providing advice on corporate restructuring, shareholder taxation and the tax aspects of corporate sales and acquisitions. She works across a range of sectors including manufacturing and engineering, marine and food and drink. In addition, Lisa is part of our innovation taxes team advising on research and development and patent box claims.

Lisa enjoys advising clients of all sizes however has particular interest in owner managed businesses. She enjoys assisting the directors and shareholders by providing tax advice throughout the lifecycle of the company. This includes support from initial start-up right through to expansion with group reorganisations, de mergers, succession planning and potential sales or acquisitions.
