Mark is a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, and a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants who qualified in 1998. Mark has a great deal of experience dealing with everything from IT and service related industries, manufacturing and printing to professional practices such as architects and surveyors. He has dealt with numerous leisure and care businesses including pubs, golf clubs, hotels and nursing homes.

In 2021 Mark and his wife decided to fulfil a lifelong wish to travel the World before returning to the UK in July 2022. He then joined us in October 2022 based in our Bristol office.

Before going travelling, Mark gained over 30 years of restructuring experience gained primarily in the South West and has a great deal of experience in dealing with businesses who find themselves in financial difficulties, from larger mid-corporate entities to partnerships and sole trader businesses. Mark spent this time at a boutique restructuring firm before spending 18 years at a larger national firm.

Mark has gained valuable secondment experience, first at Barclays Bank as a Customer Review Director on a national project involving the retrospective review of the sale of Interest Rate Hedging/Derivative Products to customers, and also a long term secondment within the restructuring team of The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc, one of the UK's largest clearing banks.
