Matt Pearce

Matt is an associate director in our transaction services team, where he leads the delivery of financial due diligence across a wide range of transactions. He works closely with a range of clients across the mid-market private equity and alternative finance markets as well as corporates on both buy-side and vendor due diligence assignments. Matt’s extensive experience and collaborative approach helps to facilitate successful transactions and aids investors in unlocking value throughout the deal process.

Since joining PKF Francis Clark over a decade ago, Matt has developed deep experience across a diverse array of sectors, including technology, manufacturing, renewables, healthcare and online retail. His work includes advising on:

  • Online flower retailer Bloom & Wild’s acquisitions of Bloomon and Bergamotte
  • Indie games developer Team17’s acquisitions of StoryToys and Astragon
  • HVAC manufacturer Caver Group’s acquisition of Powrmatic
  • Vendor due diligence for Terminix UK Limited as part of its carve-out from Terminix Inc

Matt is a Chartered Accountant and holds a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Exeter. Outside of work, Matt enjoys long walks with his dog, as well as running and cycling.
