Nick Crandon

Senior manager, tax

Nick delivers tax advisory, due diligence and compliance work, being able to provide clients with a single point of contact at all stages of an investment – from tax due diligence and structuring advice on acquisition, to ongoing advice and delivery of tax compliance on an ongoing basis, as well as advice on exit and succession.

Whilst his core technical expertise covers corporation tax, he also has a good working knowledge of shareholder matters and of indirect taxes relevant to real estate investments – such as VAT, stamp taxes and employment taxes.

Nick works with a range of clients, from institutional and private equity investors to family-owned businesses. He has experience of advising large corporate groups, real estate investment trusts and owner-managed businesses, with all the different opportunities and issues that they bring.

Nick has eight years of experience as a tax advisor. He is ACA and CTA qualified. His technical experience includes drafting sections of the Tolleys Tax handbook, liaising with HMRC in relation to changes to their tax manuals and feeding back to the Government in consultations on proposed new law.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys all things sport. An (amateur!) runner and cyclist, he can also be found on the golf course or walking around the coast paths of Cornwall.
