Nick Farrant

Partner, audit and head of food & drink sector

Nick is a corporate services partner operating primarily in the Bristol, Bath, Somerset and West Dorset area. Nick’s role is to deliver high quality accounts, audit and assurance services and to co-ordinate our specialist tax, corporate finance and other services for his clients through the building of strong client relationships.

His work involves leading teams in statutory audit and assurance, international and UK financial reporting and accountancy advice, alongside wider business advisory and support services. This sees Nick working with family businesses, large private companies and groups, UK subsidiaries of internationally listed groups and a number of high-growth smaller and start-up businesses.

Nick heads up the firm’s offering to the food & drink sector (from producers/manufacturers to hospitality businesses). However, his role in the provision of corporate services also sees Nick and his team working with a diverse range of businesses, including; FCA regulated groups, professional sports clubs, renewable energy groups, maritime service providers, manufacturing groups, healthcare providers, vehicle dealerships and technology based businesses.

Alongside his work with businesses, Nick also provides accounts, audit, other assurance and financial processes and governance advisory services to a number of charities, education and other not-for-profit organisations.

Nick is also a board member of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, sits on the ICAEW South West Strategy Board, and has recently been appointed as honorary treasurer of Somerset County Cricket Club.

Prior to joining PKF Francis Clark Nick worked at national and ‘big 4’ firms where he qualified as a chartered accountant (having previously gained a masters degree in International Management at the University of Exeter) and worked on a wide variety of small, medium and larger corporate entities.
