Richard Wadman

Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1993. Since 2006 he has worked in Corporate Finance, firstly with the predecessor firm in Truro and then with PKF Francis Clark. He is highly experienced in company acquisitions and disposals; grant, equity and debt raising; business valuations; financial projections and business plans. He is involved in the preparation of valuations for clients across the offices of PKF Francis Clark and for new instructions for one off assignments referred into the firm from solicitors etc. e.g., for matrimonial or shareholder disputes.

Richard’s knowledge of alternative funding sources has led him to originate Finance in Cornwall – a now annual event described as an “integral part of the Cornwall Business week”. This event has spawned the successful Finance in the South West event and the Finance in Dorset event. Each of these events features presentations by providers of funding and/ or business support and attendance from the business community in those areas of more than 100. Richard is one of the firm’s main bloggers: regularly writing on funding and related matters.
