Ro Henshaw

Ro joined the cyber security and IT audit team at PKF Francis Clark in 2023. In this dual role, they deliver a wide range of cyber and IT assurance engagements, from IT audits that support financial audits to cyber security assessments.

While studying for a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Ro developed broad technical knowledge and a particular interest in information security, data analysis and computer ethics. They have built on these skills through cyber assurance engagements, analysing testing results and advising clients on solutions tailored to their needs.

Ro also has specialist expertise in IT audit engagements, particularly those that support financial audits. They test a wide range of IT controls across client estates and tailor the scope and recommendations to each organisation. Ro is exam-qualified in ISACA’s Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification, providing a strong foundation in risk-based IT auditing.

Ro has extensive experience using Qualys, a vulnerability scanning tool used by the team for cyber security assurance and health checks. They also developed a custom reporting tool that creates bespoke reports from scan results, helping clients manage their systems and track remediation over time.

Outside work, Ro enjoys sewing, crochet and needle-felting. They value the combination of creativity and problem solving, as well as the opportunity to step away from screens and connect with others.
