Manager, VAT and customs

Ross joined PKF Francis Clark as a graduate trainee in November 2012, having graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in zoology and trained as an ecology consultant.

Since joining, Ross has completed his VAT compliance diploma, ATT (in which he was awarded the Gravestock Medal for the highest mark in the VAT paper) and CTA indirect tax route. He has a good understanding of all aspects of VAT and often provides training within the firm to other departments and to clients alike.

As well as providing training, Ross specialises in complex partial exemption calculations and special methods with a particular focus on academy schools, charities and the health and legal sectors.

Ross has also completed the customs practitioner award and has been helping clients with customs duty and excise matters relevant to import and export businesses.
