Sam is an assistant manager in our corporate finance team, where he supports the delivery of financial due diligence across a broad range of industries. Known for his attention to detail and analytical mindset, Sam provides support throughout the deal process, helping to uncover key insights and emphasise the value of thorough due diligence.
Sam joined PKF Francis Clark in 2020, gaining valuable experience across a wide variety of sectors including renewable energy, software and technology, manufacturing, online retail, and logistics.
Sam has been particularly active in the energy sector, contributing to several high-profile transactions. He has recently delivered due diligence for NextEnergy on their acquisition of solar assets as part of the £733m NPUK fund, and played a vital role in supporting British Solar Renewables’ £345m fundraise for a 609MW solar and battery portfolio.
Sam is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Marine Geography from Cardiff University, which included an industrial placement year conducting hydrographic surveys offshore in the North and Norwegian Seas. In his spare time, Sam enjoys staying active outdoors. He’s often found taking part in watersports around the southwest coast or attending running and cycling events.
