Sharon works with a wide range of owner-managed and family businesses, providing business advice and tax planning in conjunction with audit, accounts and tax compliance services.
She enjoys building strong relationships with her clients and in this role often acts as sounding board for business owners, balancing the commercial business advice with the interests of the individuals and families. Sharon works closely with a range of specialists across the firm, bringing their expertise to her clients whenever needed with a focus on client care.
In the not-for-profit and education sectors, Sharon works with charities of all sizes and is audit principal for a number of Multi Academy Trusts, delivering both compliance services and advice to organisations seeking to expand or facing financial challenges. Sharon is also the Chair of Torbay Medical Research Fund and Treasurer for the RAMM Development Trust, giving her practical experience of governance and risk management from a Trustee perspective.
Having worked with clients in the healthcare sector for a number of years, Sharon leads a team looking after GP locums, consultants and other specialist bodies operating in the healthcare sector, providing specialist advice in this complex and rapidly changing environment.
Sharon is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has been a partner since 2003.
