Victoria Smith

Associate director, corporate finance

Victoria has specialised in the energy sector since 2014 and advises clients across a range of technologies, including onshore wind, gas peaking, solar PV and anaerobic digestion. She has particular expertise in financial modelling and has built a number of energy sector models, for both transaction and valuation purposes.

Victoria started her career at PwC in London where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009. She then held subsequent financial analysis and consulting roles at UBS and EY, before moving into corporate finance. Prior to joining PKF in 2018, she spent four years in the energy corporate finance team at JLL.

Recent energy and infrastructure experience includes acting as lead adviser on disposal mandates in solar PV, gas peaking and onshore wind, complex financial model builds, acquisition due diligence, and valuations across the sector, from community-owned single wind turbines to operational onshore wind farms, large solar PV portfolios and anaerobic digestion facilities. Clients include funds, utilities, banks, community benefit societies and developers.

Victoria graduated from the University of Bristol with a first class honours degree in Experimental Psychology and is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW.
