International audit specialist promoted to partner at our growing Bristol office

Audit specialist Mike Hall has been promoted to partner, recognising his contribution to the ongoing growth of our Bristol office.

Mike leads audits for a wide range of clients, including international groups and private equity and fund-backed businesses, with particular expertise in the manufacturing, energy and renewables, and technology sectors.

Since joining PKF Francis Clark in 2023, he has played a key role in the development of our audit team, as well as strengthening connections with member firms across the PKF Global network to support clients with cross-border operations.

Mike, pictured above, said: “Becoming a partner at PKF Francis Clark is a privilege, but what I’m most grateful for is the balance I’ve found inside and outside of work, which has helped me develop personally and professionally. Joining the partnership, I’m surrounded by role models who share that sense of perspective.

“Since joining the firm, I’ve been encouraged and supported at every step. My fellow partners and colleagues have shown genuine kindness and sincerity, which has allowed me to grow into this new role. I’m surrounded by a hugely talented team who bring deep expertise to their work and, importantly, care about each other as people.”

We recently completed the first phase of expansion at our Bristol office, which will double in size this year, paving the way for continued growth. More than 100 colleagues are now based at the office in Victoria Street, which opened in 2019.

“This promotion will enable me to play an even greater role in shaping our audit offering and the exciting journey of our Bristol office,” added Mike.

“Over the past year, I’ve focused on deepening our connections across the PKF Global network. I’m looking forward to building on this, collaborating with trusted colleagues around the world to benefit our clients with international operations.”

CEO Paul Crocker said: “We’re delighted to welcome Mike into the partnership. Since joining us, he has made a real impact – not only through the quality of his work and his commitment to clients, but also through the energy he has brought to developing our team in Bristol and strengthening relationships across the PKF Global network.

“Mike embodies the collaborative spirit and innovative mindset that are so important to our firm. His promotion reflects both his personal achievements and the ongoing growth of our Bristol office. I look forward to his continued contribution in the years ahead.”
