We're up to sixth in UK’s Best Large Workplaces 2026 – and remain top-ranked accountancy firm

We’re celebrating our highest position yet in the UK’s Best Workplaces rankings, after climbing to sixth place in the large organisations category of the new 2026 list.

PKF Francis Clark has featured on this prestigious list for four years running – rising up the rankings each time. Once again, we’re the top‑ranked accountancy firm.

The list of the UK’s top employers, compiled by workplace culture experts Great Place to Work, is based on confidential feedback from hundreds of thousands of employees across the country.

Anonymous survey responses from PKF Francis Clark colleagues described a strong sense of belonging and the firm’s supportive culture:

“People truly look out for each other. Teams work well by coaching and providing a psychologically safe space to learn and develop.”

“It feels as though you are part of one large family… There are lots of social and networking opportunities, and people are always willing to help.”

Other strengths highlighted by the survey included flexibility, approachable leadership and investment in professional development. Overall, 91% of respondents said PKF Francis Clark is a great place to work, compared to 54% of employees at a typical UK company.

Amy Taylor, our chief people officer, said: “To reach sixth place among the UK’s Best Large Workplaces is an outstanding achievement and one that reflects the contribution people at all levels make to our culture. That’s why the colleagues who represented us at the Best Workplaces Awards were all nominated by their peers for making a positive impact.

“We’re continually listening to feedback and creating opportunities for our people to develop and thrive. What makes this recognition so meaningful is that it comes directly from our colleagues’ experiences – and seeing us climb the rankings again shows we’re moving in the right direction. I’m proud of our teams for creating a supportive environment where everyone feels they can belong, be themselves and achieve their career ambitions.”

PKF Francis Clark also features in specialist lists compiled by Great Place to Work, including the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women, Wellbeing and Development, and in Consulting & Professional Services.

Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place to Work UK, said: “Year after year, it’s truly inspiring to witness a growing number of organisations earn a spot on our UK’s Best Workplaces List. We’ve seen an increase yet again in Trust Index scores, which means the bar has been raised and this accreditation is a significant and tremendous accomplishment.

“The UK’s Best Workplaces excel in creating consistently great experiences for all employees through fostering high levels of trust, pride and camaraderie to fuel increased organisational performance. These crucial elements collectively contribute to creating cultures where employees feel they can truly be themselves and thrive in a supportive and caring environment.”
