Andy Thornhill

Andy has provided advice to a wide array of participants in the energy sector including raising development funds, pre-construction project rights disposals, construction fund raising and operating asset disposals.

Alongside his transaction experience Andy has specialist financial modelling and funds experience having previously worked at Deloitte in the UK and Australia as well as at two listed property REITs within their wholesale and retail funds teams.

Andy has a BA in economics from the University of Exeter and is an ICAEW chartered accountant.

Notable recent transactions include:

• Acting for Low Carbon on the sale of eight solar projects in the south of England with 350 MW capacity and two battery storage projects with a capacity of 85 MW to Total Energies
• Acting for Low Carbon on the sale of Gate Burton Energy Park, purchased by EDF Power Solutions
