Celebrating our latest partner and director promotions

Developing our own talent is hugely important to us as a firm, so we are delighted to announce the appointments of two new partners and five new directors in our current annual round of promotions.

Chloe Mills and Liam Dushynsky are made partners in the firm, while Chris Rodgers, Sarah Brown, Adam Waddle, Kieran Hancock and Mark Bishop are promoted to director roles. The newly promoted partners and directors are based in our Poole, Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth offices.

Chloe joined the firm as a director of audit in 2010 and is responsible for overseeing audit and accounting services at our Poole office. She enjoys building close working relationships with clients, gaining a full understanding of their businesses and aspirations for the future.

“I am delighted to have been appointed partner in PKF Francis Clark and to join the team of partners in our Poole office,” said Chloe. “The culture here is one of commitment to our clients and I look forward to playing my part in both helping our clients prosper and further growing our business across Dorset and beyond.”

Exeter-based Liam joined PKF Francis Clark in 2005 as a graduate trainee and is now a key member of the firm’s VAT and customs team. He particularly enjoys helping clients, ranging from family businesses to FTSE 100 companies, adapt to changes in legislation.

What I love about my work is solving real business issues for our clients.

“Over the past 16 years, I’ve seen the firm grow enormously,” said Liam. “The beauty of a firm our size is you can gain experience in all departments and then pursue your interest in the area you excel in.

“What I love about my work is solving real business issues for our clients. The stereotype of accountants just crunching numbers is long gone – our job is about helping people do business.

“I’ve learned something new every day, and I gain a lot of satisfaction from seeing my team grow in knowledge and expertise. We’ve come a long way, to the point where we’re regularly involved in advising policymakers on the development of new legislation, and I’m genuinely excited about our future. My ambition for the team is to enable more businesses to get on with what they do best.”

Managing partner Andrew Richards said: “Growing our own talent is an important part of our culture as a firm. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for people to develop themselves and progress in their careers in a beautiful part of the world, as all our newly promoted directors and partners have done since they joined us.

“Chloe, Liam, Chris, Sarah, Adam, Kieran and Mark have all worked hard to become experts in their respective fields, while embracing our ethos of shared ambition and working with our clients to help them succeed.”
