New office space for our growing Bristol team

We’ve moved into larger office space to support the continued growth of our team in Bristol.

Colleagues have completed a phased move from the ground floor to the second and third floors of their Victoria Street home, more than doubling the floorspace of our Bristol office to around 13,000 sq ft.

At our new Bristol office are (back, from left): COO Scott Bentley, corporate finance partner Nick Tippett, audit partner Mike Hall, tax partner John Endacott, audit partner and head of food & drink sector Nick Farrant, (and front, from left) restructuring partner Nick Harris, tax partner Nicola Manclark, CEO Paul Crocker, partner and head of legal sector Andrew Allen and audit partner Paul Putnam (Photo: Dave Pratt)

It marks the latest stage in the growth of the office, which opened in 2019 and is now home to around 130 colleagues, including 10 partners. The team has grown across audit and assurance, business advisory, corporate finance, restructuring, professional practices and tax, through a combination of trainee recruitment and senior hires.

Paul Bray, partner and head of our Bristol office, said: “When we opened the office seven years ago, there were three of us here on the first day. To have grown the team in the way we have makes me very proud.

“We’re now a recognised name in the Bristol market and are increasingly being asked to advise and tender for work with growing businesses. The breadth of expertise we have here means we can meet all our clients’ needs through advisers who are based in the city and understand the local market.

“We’ve invested in a much better working environment for our people. It also gives us the capacity to keep growing without losing the team culture that has been central to our success.”

The new office was officially opened at a drinks reception attended by clients, colleagues and representatives of Bristol’s business community.

In line with our ethos as a B Corp, sustainability was a key consideration during the refit, with materials repurposed wherever possible. The enlarged office includes increased shower facilities and added drying cabinets to support cycling and walking to work, as well as additional meeting rooms and enhanced breakout areas.

CEO Paul Crocker said: “This investment reflects our confidence in the city and gives our people the space and facilities they need for the next stage of growth.

“Bristol has become an increasingly important part of our business and the growth of our team here has exceeded expectations. This is the result of the hard work of colleagues and the trust placed in us by our clients and professional contacts. We’re grateful to everyone who has played a part in establishing PKF Francis Clark as a significant presence in Bristol.”
